Built custom React components, integrated Sanity CMS and custom membership and rewards APIs, and sped up both the front end and back end.

About

I've drawn and painted since I was a kid, all the way through high school, so it seemed natural to start community college in visual art. I'd also played guitar as a teen, and music pulled me toward jazz guitar. A friend from the music program, after we'd played in bands together, thought I'd make a great programmer and started teaching me the basics of web development. I eventually transferred to CSUF as a music student, then switched to computer science before leaving to build for the web full-time. Since then I've spent 14 years shipping for startups, agencies, and in-house teams, most recently building commerce for some of the biggest brands on Shopify.
